The hopeful mayor Andrew Cuomo denied public correspondence funds in his offer for the City Council, delivering a fundraising of funds for a sum of $ 4 million to the current favorite for the objective of his political return.
The decision of the Finance Board of the campaign occurred on Tuesday morning after the Cuomo campaign sent an email in panic during the weekend to followers who aspire to complete last minute forms and digitally give their signatures to guarantee correspondence funds.
The email came with the “urgent – action required” matter and stressed: “This is very important.”
“We need to complete the form included in this additional email, today possible. We apologize for incidentality, but it is essential that we recover these forms as soon as possible.”
The former Gov campaign lost $ 4,174,643.75 in funds coinciding at $ 332,530. The city offers corresponding funds from 8 to 1 for donations of up to $ 2,150 of the city’s residents as part of an effort to open the field to less rich candidates.
The paperwork is the last error in recent days, including a housing plan with typographic error and the spelling error of two main union leaders when announcing their backs.
“Last Friday, the campaign financing campaign reported that, due to a technical software error, the contributions collected in one of our supplier platforms, NGP, lacked one of the fields required by the campaign finance board, so while we find the necessary thresholds to receive corresponding funds, the campaign had to remedy this technical matter,” said the rich campaign Azzopardi.
“We have extended together to address the software problem and have met all the requirements and send the clean documentation to the Board in the grace period of a week that the Board allows to remedy technical problems to receive funds on May 12.”
