The authorities believe that a man, possible in his 40 years, faced a group of minors towards the back of the Secth bus, took a gun out of his bag and hit the four people. The exact reason for the shooting is an uncle.
“This was an extremely terrifying incident for our clients and the Septa bus operator, and the Septa Police will continue to work closely with the Philadelphia Police in the investigation,” said a spokesman for the Transit Agency to CBS News Philadelphia.
No judgments have been made in the case. Police said the shooter ran out of the bus, but fortunately, the cameras on board captured the entire incident. Detectives are now reviewing that video to discover who the shooter is and what could have taken to the shooting.
“Violence in any way is unacceptable,” said Pace, “and we are doing absolutely everything we can as a police department to guarantee the public safety of those who walk our streets and travel in our public transport.”
Dasha Sukhova said Septa rides several times a week, but after this shooting, he is now thinking twice before returning on board.
“I know that the city can be dangerous, but never so things, and I have never heard of it. And this is the first time I heard about that, and how should I take a bus?” She said.
