TMRW Sports announced the commitments of six more players Tuesday morning for the upcoming league set to debut later this year. WTGL is what it sounds like to those who don’t know, a women’s version of the popular TGL league that just completed its second season.
Before Tuesday there were eight names committed:
As noted, there are six new names to add to the list:
In addition to the expanded roster of players, there was another announcement on Tuesday: WTGL officially has a logo.
“WTGL continues to gain momentum as a global platform for the stars of the LPGA and women’s team golf,” said Pete.

partners as we prepare for the inaugural WTGL season.”
There is no doubt that WTGL is gaining momentum ahead of its launch in late 2026. Its roster is full of all kinds of stars, as noted.
However, it is worth mentioning that current world number one Nelly Korda, by far the biggest star on the LPGA Tour at the moment, is not among those committed to the WTGL at this time. Nelly has spoken about the league before and said that a mixed partnership with TGL might have been more ideal. It is unknown if he will join this venture at some point.
Doing some math, TGL rosters are made up of three players on a team in a given match. Obviously each game is between two teams. That means there are six active players at any given time and there are currently only enough players to make four teams. The point here is that it is logical that more names could join the group. Maybe Nelly, maybe even her sister Jessica too, are part of that. Again, just thinking out loud.
Whatever the case, WTGL is not slowing down. It’s great to see.
