Ciara, who recently celebrated her 10th wedding anniversary with Wilson on July 6 and released new single “Yes” to celebrate, also shared the secrets behind their successful relationship.
“We’re super aligned, from how we dream together, to how we imagine life will be. We’ve always been that way from day one, and I think that’s been a game-changer,” Ciara divulged. “And obviously we’re very spiritual people, so we always say that God and Jesus are at the center. So I think you have to have some kind of positive, powerful force in your life that’s beyond you.”

“When you have challenges, you can find that middle ground, that peaceful place that helps you realign or fix things where they need to be,” he said.
Ciara added that “communication” and making space to spend quality time together is also crucial.
“Communication is important and I think you can’t stop hanging out together. I think that’s the important piece,” he said. “We still go on dates all the time and it’s fun. I feel like a little kid every time. Even on simple dates, just putting on sweatpants.”
He added: “You have to live as young as possible for as long as possible and stay connected that way. So we’re pretty much in sync in every aspect of life, and I think that’s huge, and those have been, I would say, some of the things that are part of the glue for us.”
