Well, that’s an opinion.
The host of ESPN, Stephen A. Smith, said Sunday that he might not have the option to run for president in 2028 if the Democrats do not produce something better.
The host of the “First Toma” of ESPN said that it has been flooded with the requests to contemplate a presidential career that has to leave that option on the table.
“I have no choice because I have been officials, and I will not give their names, elected officials who approach me,” Smith told ABC News “this week” on Sunday.
“I have had people who obtained a lot of money, billionaires and others who have spoken to me about exploratory committees and things of that nature,” he added. “I am not a politician. I have never had the desire to be a political.”
Smith won national prominence for his hot hot sports, but, in recent years, he has often got into politics, criticizing President Trump and Democrats to lose it.
Despite flirting with an offer of 2028, Smith admitted that he would like to see some with the necessary experience.
“I hope someone darker to step forward that is more qualified than me, but if you have to get to me, it is something that I would give,” he added.
Last week, the sports host drew the headlines to declare that “the door will no longer close” in a possible presidential career.
“Here is the reality: people literally, people approached me, including my own pastor, for crying out loud, who told me:” You don’t know what God has planned for you, “said Smith, and added that the pastor said.
Duration in the 2024 elections, Smith voted for former vice president Kamala Harris, although he later admitted that he felt a “fool” because the ex-FEP got the Democrat not to realize a primary.
Despite his fierce criticism of the Democrats, Smith is not excited with Trump.
“I don’t like what I am seeing, but I am not surprised. I mean, this whole situation of the rate of the rate is completely ridiculous,” he lamented. “It should have immediately attacked China and not all the nations of the planet, for crying out loud.”
“There is no appeal to be a plan. Let’s be, let’s be very, very clear about that,” he added. “But in the end, you know, what you have to applaud them is to try something.”
Smith’s pet with the Democrats is that “they speak and speak and speak”, but they achieve nothing.
“It is an accusation against a Democratic party that has no leadership,” he argued. “It doesn’t have a vision.”
The 2028 race is emerging as the first presidential contest in approximately a decade without the owner being executed on both sides of the corridor, creating a massive opening for Democrats and Republicans equally.
Trump has openly questioned that, a suggestion that he can follow a third mandate, despite the fact that amendment 22 prohibits him from running.
“If a Republican supports him, I don’t want to hear a word from his mouth again after the Constitution,” Smith reprimanded.
“That is what the leg has lived for years. And then you are talking about avoiding amendment 22, and do you think it’s great?
