Online conspiracy theories are out of this world.
A mysterious triangular tower has been discovered in Secret Area 51, and social networks users insist that the structure is “alien technology”.
The curious minds discovered that they could see the tower in the Nevada desert, described as standing between 150 and 190 feet high, in coordinates 37,24624 ° N, 115,82334 ° W on Google Maps.
Located about 80 miles northwest of Las Vegas, the structure of the highly classified base of the United States Air Force has been in its place for two decades, and, of course, has caused conspiracy theories.
The base of the Air Force has long been associated with reports of unidentified flying objects, and the discovery has people who suggest that there is an extraterrestrial life on the site.
Some on social networks have compared the structure with a skyscraper, an exhaust ventilation and a Dyson air purifier, and others have joined it as a “Toblerone shopping center” or a “new version of Jenga”.
“Area 51 is just a distraction for the first 50 areas,” another joked.
It is also an indicated leg that has a strange similarity with the monolith in the 1968 science fiction film by Stanley Kubrick “2001: A Space Odyssey”.
It is likely that the real structure remains a mystery, but some less conspiracy oriented fans had some more realistic ideas about their origin.
“Right next to a track … probably a flight control tower?” Someone said.
“Maybe a radar configuration in phases,” he intervened.
“Multiphase radar matrix by the IT look. Probably for narrower drone size crafts, hence the configuration is right on the track, it is still a base used to test prosaic but classified crafts,” one wrote.
