The Americans deserve
Better than musk
As former career officer who has worked with many professional officials and dedicated over the years, I find Elon Musk’s attitude towards the employees of the offensive and ignorant government.
For example, saying that I would send USAID to a woodchipper reflects the contempt of what these employees do by taking care of people in need around the world. Then, his mischief on the stage of balanceing a chainsaw denigrated public officials that serve the interests of the United States and the world in many agencies.
Finally, make the government more efficient without considering effectiveness is ignorant. While Doge may be reducing the immediate costs of the government, damaging the effectiveness of the mission will probably result in much larger costs in the coming years. The American people deserve better.

Re: “Protest Doge, Musk” work (page A6, April 10).
To the point of Henry Risser that Tesla’s protests are driven by people who blindly hate Donald Trump, I do not agree. The protesters are tired of their lies, their irrational thinking and their lack of compassion; He has won his Drust.
As he suggested, I took a look at Dege.gov and I was surprised by the striking appearance of the data and data graphics without foundation. I was also surprised by the fact that there is no narrative to explain the reasons or justification of any of the information.
I hope that everyone who continues to trust Donald Trump and Elon Musk with their future have a plan B, is only a matter of time before everyone’s social security benefits are on the Lege website as waste or abuse.

Re: “Protest Doge, Musk” work (page A6, April 10).
I would like to know exactly what is the “legitimate chans to save our country” under Donald Trump. He and Doge are promoting the best economy we have had in a Dittch. And it is not just cutting government spending; It is totally done without taking into account people who need work, medical care, etc. It is being done with total cruelty.
Trump was going to lower prices the “first day”; What happened? Instead, it is at least change between us and covers its own (totally unconstitutional) pockets while reducing taxes for the richest people in the country. He is pointing to anyone who has said a word against him.
I don’t know where the eyes of the card writer have a leg, but they certainly open.

The community must be lifted
Again to save the home
The Pajaro Valley must be extremely proud of their actions to save the home and the farm so that the Hirahara family stays when they returned from the internment camps of World War II. The neighbors paid property taxes to avoid tragic monitoring of land that occurred in other areas.
But now, that golden story will be erased by the actions of the Historical Resources Commission of Santa Cruz County to eliminate the farm of the National Historical Registry, allowing demolition … even paying to do so. The people of the Pajaro Valley and beyond must act quickly to renew it and reimburse it as a profitable event center. Emma Prusch Fark Park of San José is a model.

Donald Trump has given tariff exemptions to the richest companies in the world while trying to make the United States again by raising new taxes to small businesses. I own a small electronic manufacturing business, and we bought both the United States as possible. We do all the manufacture and assembly here in California; However, most of the components that enter our product are articles of basic products from China, the only place where they are made.
That is the global supply chain that was established from 40-50 years ago. The CEO wanted to reduce costs and transfer their production to China due to cheap labor and lax environmental laws. For this, they were lavished with huge bonuses. Now Trump is trying to make the United States rich again at the expense of new taxes to the capitalists of small businesses that simply have the advantages of the global supply chain.
