Keely Hodgkinson will align against training partner Georgia Hunter Bell in Lausana Diamond League on Wednesday, her second and last planned race before the World Championship next month.
After a season decimated by an injury, Hodgkinson finished a 376 -day wait to compete for the first time as an 800m Olympic champion in Silesia, Poland, on Saturday.
The 23 -year -old announced her return emphatically while registering a minute, 54.74 seconds, the fastest time of 2025, the fastest ninth in history and only 0.13 seconds of her British record.
Four days later, in Switzerland, he joins Hunter Bell of the 1500m Olympic Bronze Medalist, he competes about 800 meters for the last time before deciding whether to point to that event, the 1500m or both in search of another global podium in Tokyo.
