Nathan Maguire of Great Britain thanked his family for helping him to achieve his dream after winning the Bronze T54 1500m in the World Athletics Championship for New Delhi.
Maguire beat Marcel Hug in the final curve and ended behind the Chinese couple Jin Hua and Luo Xingchuan.
The 28 -year -old added to the bronze he won at the T54 800M in the 2024 World Championship in Kobe.
“This is what I dreamed for my entire career,” Maguare told BBC Sport.
“It is always special to be able to do this in front of his family.
“I’ve never let my parents go for me and I know how much they put me when I grew up to take me to this point, so it’s a team effort.”
Maguire finished fourth at the T54 400m on Tuesday, but has the opportunity to collect another medal at the 800m event this weekend.
Great Britain, Hannah Tauunton, was lost a medal in the final of 1500m female, since he finished fourth in four minutes 42.95 seconds, seven seconds behind Annabelle Colman of Australia, which Tok Bronze.
Antonia Keyla da Silva Barros de Brazil established a world record of 4: 19.22 to take gold.
Sophie Hahn, twice Paralympic champion of more than 100 meters, ended eighth for Great Britain in the 200m Final of 200m female in 27.11, with Karen Palomeque Gold from Colombia with a world record of 24.98.
