Convergence Energy Services LTD (CSL), a subsidiary of Energy Efficient Services Ltd (EESL), has invited offers for the deployment of 1,000 electric cars throughout the country under phase II of its ambitious “is a serviva.
This movement follows the successful implementation of the first phase and aims to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EV) between government and public sector institutions.
According to the “EV as service” model, CESL offers an integral offer that includes four -wheeled electric vehicles (4W EV) together with fleet services administered such as insurance, repair and maintenance (R&M), road assistance and, optionally, drivers, which assumes an end -to -end experience for government clients.

Phase II land representatives of CSL A pan-india effort reflects its continuous commitment to climb clean mobility solutions. As part of this effort, CSL will add the demand for electric cars of central and state governments, central public sector (CPSU) and other public entities. The objective is to optimize the acquisition, simplify the implementation and contribute to the broader sustainability ambitions of India.
Until now, CESL/EESLS has deployed around 2,200 electric vehicles in several ministries and departments, including the office of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Finance, Niti Aayog, Ministry of Defense and others.
According to the EV as a service initiative, Cel aims to increase the adoption of electric vehicles between states by supporting state governments to meet their EV adoption objectives, aligned with their respective electronic mobility policies. In addition, CESL seeks to take advantage of the opportunities available within the EV ecosystem in the evolution of the country to strengthen its role in the sector.
A growing number of central and state government policies is promoting change to electrical mobility. The Government of India, through the Department of Expenses and the Department of Public Companies, has ordered the integration of EVs into offices of the Central Government and CPSE. The similar orientation has been issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Climate Change.
