Mikesh Abani will meet with the president of the United States, Donald Trump, and Qatar Emir in Doha on Wednesday, two sources said. Reuterswhile his company Reliance Industries seeks to promote ties with the authorities in both nations.
The sovereign of Qatar’s wealth, Qia, has invested in trust businesses over the years, and Ambani, who is the richest man in Asia, has many commercial associations with the tastes of US technological giants such as Google and Meta.
Ambani will attend a state dinner for Trump in the Portuguese Palace in Doha, but did not plan to celebrate any investment or commercial discussion, said the first source, which was immediately aware of the matter.
Another Indian business leader based in London will also attend near Trump and Qatar administrations, both sources said, without idealizing the individual.
More details or Ambani’s agenda were not clear. Reliance did not immediately respond to Reuters consultations.
In February, Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani de Qatar visited India, where his country has committed to invest $ 10 billion in various industries.
Trump will travel to the United Arab Emirates from Qatar on Thursday on a trip that focuses on investment instead of security issues in the Middle East.
