Corey Haimthe mom, Judy Haimslammed Corey Feldman for accusing his late son of sexually abusing him.
Judy said in an interview with TMZ on Thursday, December 18, that there is “no way in hell” that Corey, who died in 2010 at age 38, sexually abused Feldman, now 54, because he was attracted to women.
“I don’t care if someone is gay, but I’m not gay or anything like that,” she told the outlet, stating that her son “was a one-woman man” and “didn’t like men.”
Judy claims that Feldman lies about his son because he “doesn’t want people to focus on his own bad actions.”
“Corey Feldman always talks about sex and blames my son for things he’s not here to defend himself against,” she said.
Feldman accused Corey of sexual abuse in his new documentary Corey Feldman vs. the world.
“When we did Lost Boys, Corey told me, ‘Hey, let’s mess around,'” Feldman alleged in his Corey Feldman vs. the World Documentary. “I said, ‘What do you mean?’”
According to Feldman, Corey said that was “what guys in the business do.”
“I called [Corey] and said, “Come.” But you know, when you have someone trying to get close to you sexually and you don’t want that, and you’re a kid and you’re scared,” Feldman said in the doc. “You do everything you can to prevent it from happening, and that’s what was happening. Corey Haim was sexually abusing me. “Truth be told.”
From Judy’s perspective, Feldman’s accusations make no sense because she claimed that her son was never left “alone for even a minute” on any set, whether it was her or another family member with Corey.
Judy also doesn’t understand how Feldman and his son were friends for so many years if Corey did what Feldman accused him of doing.
“Why would they be friends for so long if this happened? It doesn’t make sense,” he told the outlet.
Judy added that Feldman’s allegations are “very defamatory and damaging to my son’s legacy.”
Over the years, Feldman has been candid about the alleged abuse he suffered as a child star. In its 2020 document My Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys documentary. He claimed that he and Corey were victims of sexual assault.
“What we did was gather several witnesses who had heard firsthand from the victim herself,” Feldman said. Entertainment Weekly in 2020 to do my truth. “These are first-hand witnesses who got the story directly from the victim before she died… We think we’ve done a very good job of being impartial in showing what the argument is and what both sides have to say, but also in showing the weaknesses in their argument. I think we’ve done a good job of covering the scope, and I think doing so will really lead people to the conclusion that what we’re saying is true.”
Feldman told the outlet that he hoped his film would help other victims of sexual assault.
