Kimberly McCullough I didn’t have a normal childhood exactly.
After being discovered in a Breakdance battle when he was 5 years old, the former children’s star got a small role in the movie Breakin ‘2: Electric Boogaloo. Two years later, she hit Shiri Appleby To get Robin’s role in General Hospital.
For more than 1,200 episodes, McCullough, now 47, grew up in Port Charles and experienced the Hollywood brightness and glamor with the Emmy victories during the day, Spin -off’s opportunities and more.
But in 2012, McCullough left the soap opera to pursue his other passion to direct.
“I remember that I was so supported,” he shared in an episode of 2021 of the “Dring With Digest” podcast. “I remember that all the people in the program said:” We are very sad to see you go, but you must go. “It was almost like graduating from the university or something to proud my parents, I had no idea if any of this was going to work.”
Since she was a little girl, McCullough remembered having been impressed with Ron Howard and dreamed of becoming a director.

But I miss people and incredible stories.”
Instead of walking red carpets or attending Hollywood events, McCullough prefers to stay behind the camera working on a variety of projects, including an original musical film with Xochitl Gómez noble Don’t forget.
His Instagram is full of photos of his garden or quality time that passed with his dog and son, whose face is hidden.

“Now that I have had a little time away from Robin, I think I can finally appreciate how much she is and she is me,” he shared in the podcast “The Locher Room”. “I think that is equally more pronounced because no one else has played my character. Of course, that could always happen, but I am the only one who has played Robin.”
