Well, another week of bad choices by yours truly. I went 7-7 for the second week in a row and I’m depressed. I was 2-1 with my high confidence picks and 4-2 with my medium confidence picks, but a lot of annoying picks hurt as I was 1-4 with my low confidence picks.
Last week was wild, with the Bills losing in Miami and the Panthers losing at home to the Saints. Those were the biggest surprises in a week that didn’t really have that many entertaining games. Maybe it will change in week 11?
This week, we open with the Patriots hosting the Jets in a less than ideal TNF kickoff. Europe suffers another problem Sunday morning when the Dolphins take on the Commanders with both teams struggling. The 1 pm ET window has two matchups that look decent: the Bills hosting the Bucs and the Jaguars hosting the Chargers. All four teams are in the thick of the playoff race. The 4 pm window has a big matchup between the Seahawks and Rams, with both teams seen as contenders for the NFC title. Sunday closes with another such matchup when the Eagles host the Lions. Maybe we can just ignore Cowboys-Raiders on Monday?
Editor’s update, November 15: I forgot to include my Vikings-Bears pick, so I added the Vikings as a mid-confidence pick. I also moved the Texans over the Titans from high confidence to medium confidence and the Packers over the Giants from medium confidence to high confidence.
