Elias Angel Rivera’s cellmate, a 37 -year -old Santa Rita prison, who died after the deputies found him unanswered and wounded last month in his cell, now accused of murderer in the case.
Paula Faaui, a 22 -year -old girl from Oakland, is being investigated by the Alameda County Sheriff and the District Prosecutor’s Office for her alleged participation, compliance with a Friday press release.
Around midnight on March 17, the agents found Rivera insensitive in their Dublin cell with visible injuries after Faaui activated an emergency call button. Rivera was then tasks of a hospital in the area, where he died the next morning.
River had been imprisoned in Santa Rita since May 2022, after the officers of the California road patrol arrested him under suspicion of murder to allegedly drive drunk and cause an accident that killed a woman. It was housed in a maximum security unit.
Faaui had arrested on the legs by the Oakland police in August 2023 for murder charges and subsequently reserved in Santa Rita.
