
An illegal migrant was convicted of the rape of 2023 and the murder of the mother of five of Maryland, Rachel Morin, on Monday afternoon, after the jury deliberated for less than an hour, according to the reports.
Victor Martínez-Hernández, 24, was convicted of first-degree murder, rape in first degree, first-degree sexual crime and kidnapping after Morin, 37, was killed along a path to about 30 miles northeast of Batimore in August 2023.
The guilt verdict occurred after less than an hour of deliberations, WBFF reported.
Martínez-Hernández could spend the rest of his life in prison, the station reported.
Morin’s case won national headlines at the time of his horrible murderer because it was another example of a migrant in the United States that carried out a shocking crime while the Biden administration struggled to control the chaos on the border.
“They put all American citizens in danger, all American citizens, and specify the most vulnerable, who are women and children,” said Patricia Morin, the victim’s mother, The Post.
