Mickey Rourke responded to the shocking claim of Bella Thorne who claimed her genitals with a metal grinder while working in her “Girl” movie of 2020.
“We are aware of the deeply worrying statements made by Bella Thorne about her experience in the set with Mr. Rourke duration of a FIT film,” said the actor’s representatives in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter on Friday.
“These accusations are extremely serious. Mr. Rourke firmly denies any intentional misconduct.”
Rourke never received complaints from the very nature of the former co -star, according to his representatives, and “he was not aware of any discomfort expressed by Mrs. Thorne at that time.”
“Out of respect for all the parties involved and the light of the severity of the statements, Mr. Rourke will refrain more at this time,” they continued.
“It is prepared to cooperate completely with any appropriate research. We extend our support to all professionals who deserve to feel safe and respected in their workplace.”

Rourke, 72, responded only a few hours after Thorne, 27, tok Instagram to reflect on his time working on the 2020 horror movie.

The “Shake It Up” student also said that the “Angel Heart” star accelerates his engine “to cover [her] Completely on land ”in another scene.
At one point, Thorne was supposedly forced to enter the Rourke trailer “absolutely alone” and “convince him to appear and complete his work” when he did not want to talk to the “director or producers.”
The “mixed” star explained that it only went to face its co -star to prevent the film from draining.
Throne also called the retired athlete for making homophobic comments to Jojo Siwa in an episode recently “Celebrity Big Brother UK” before he was forced to leave the program.
