
San Jose – The Executive Director of a Key Business Group of San José has resigned, leaving a vacancy in the first place of the organization before the arrival of three mega sporting events in South Bay next year.
The CEO of the associations of the center of San Jose, Alex Stetinski, resigned, according to the information published by the Business Association and a group that represents the owners of the center.
Stettinski’s resignation was abruptly and occurred without prior notice.
“Alex Stettinski has decided to resign as CEO to follow his next professional chapter,” according to a liberation issuance prepared by the center’s association and a group of owners of the center. “We thank you for your almost three years of service and leadership.”
The two business groups said they wanted Stetinski well in their next effort.
Gumby Marques, a previous president of the Board of Directors of the Associations of Center of San José, has tasks in an interim basic to lead the group.
Marques takes the interim CEO, while the Board of the Explore Association for a permanent replacement.
The vacancy arises at a critical moment for companies in downtown San José.
Political leaders at the Hope City Council, center of San José, companies will be able to harvest part of the promotions in the businesses of a trio of Mega events that are scheduled to reach South Bay in 2026.
The NFL SuperBowl, several FIFA World Cup matches and a key round of the NCAA male basketball tournament are scheduled to celebrate in the duration of South Bay Bay 2026.
“From advancing in our clean and safe initiatives to defending local companies, the association of center of San José remains firmly focused on progress,” said the association.
