A female doctor was found mysteriously dead and possibly naked inside a freezer at a Dollar Tree store in Miami, Florida, on Sunday, according to police and media reports.
An employee at the discount store in Little Havana reported discovering a “deceased female inside the business” during opening hours at 8 a.m., the Miami Police Department told Fox News Digital on Monday. The woman was identified as Helen Massiell Garay Sánchez, 32 years old.
“The woman was located inside a freezer/refrigerator located in the store’s storage room,” said public information officer Michael Vega.
Sanchez was also naked when she was discovered, CBS News reported, citing police scanners.

Authorities added that surveillance footage indicated no crime was involved. The investigation is ongoing. It is also unclear why Sanchez entered the restricted storage area.
According to a GoFundMe page, Sánchez was an anesthesiologist specializing in congenital heart disease and was originally from Nicaragua. His friends and family are now working to have his body returned to his home country, where his two children live.
