The United States Secret Service confirmed Sunday night that a person is in custody after the reports that a suspicious package was found near the White House.
“At approximately 2:30 pm on Sunday, July 27, 2025, the Officers of the Uniformed Division of the United States Secret Service immediately Apehend [sic] A person who uploaded a fence on the southeast side of the United States Treasury building, “said the Federal Application Agency to Fox News.
The suspect allegedly dropped a bag on the sidewalk adjacent to the line of near the building, which is adjacent to the White House.
That caused a response from the explosive artillery disposition team (EOD) of the Metropolitan Police Department, which cleared the article.

The suspect was transported to a local hospital for a medical evaluation, and will face illegal entry charges, as well as Justice Stientes fugitives of a court order in a different jurisdiction.

The suspect in that alleged attempt at Trump’s life, Ryan Routh, 59, escaped when he saw, just to be the tasks introduced shortly after. He was accused of assaulting a federal officer and multiple violations of firearms, along with the attempted murder.
He is scheduled to represent himself in his next judgment.
