The British Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, will announce plans on Monday to tighten the immigration rules in the midst of the pressure of annoying voters for high immigration levels.
Starmer, whose Center-Durft Labor Party won an overwhelming victory in July, is under pressure as a member of the right-wing Nigel Farage Parliament and the United Kingdom’s party gains popularity.
Voters are becoming more and more frustrated by high immigration numbers, which many argue that they have tensioned public services and intensified ethnic tensions in some parts of the country.
With Monday’s legislation, Starmer promises to put an end to what his office described as “the failed experiment of Great Britain on the open borders”, less than two weeks after the advantage of the United Kingdom reform of the immigration issue to ensure victories in local elections.

Labor and conservatives of the center-right, which for a long time have been the main parties of Great Britain, suffered falls in support in competitions for the advice and mayors of the local government.
According to the new plans, the qualified visas will be restricted to people in postgraduate works, while the visas for low marriages will only be issued in critical areas for the country’s industrial strategy, and companies must increase the training of British workers. Companies in the care sector may no longer request visas for workers recruited abroad.
“All areas of the immigration system, including work, family and study, will adjust to have more control,” Starmer said in strangers of a speech that plans to pronounce on Monday. “The application will be more difficult than ever and migration numbers will fall. We will create a controlled, selective and fair system.”
Migrants who are in the United Kingdom with visas are generally not eligible for well -being and social housing benefits.

The Government also said that it plans to raise English language requirements to include all adult dependents, who must show a basic understanding of English. The Government said that the objective of change is to help integration and reduce exploitation risks.
“This is a clean break from the past and will ensure that the settlement in this country is a privilege that must be won, not a right,” said Starmer.
“And when people come to our country, they must also commit to integration and learn our language,” he added.
Employer groups are concerned that adjusting the rules on foreign workers will make it difficult for companies to fill out jobs.

The number of migrants from the European Union to Britain fell significantly after Brexit. But the new visa rules, an increase in people who arrive from Ukraine and Hong Kong, as well as a greater net number of foreign students have led to a general increase in immigration in recent years.
“We inherited a failed immigration system where the previous government replaced free movement with a free market experiment,” British Interior Minister Yvette Cooper, in a statement. “We are taking decisive measures to restore control and order to the immigration system.”
