Bunnie, 46, was the subject of an Instagram birthday tribute posted by Bailee Ann, 18, in 2023. “Happy birthday to my favorite person, my idol, my mentor, the most beautiful woman I know, an amazing business woman, my number one fan and most importantly, my mom,” Bailee Ann wrote at the time. “I love you to the moon and always.”
Jelly Roll (real name Jason Bradley DeFord), who filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo (real name Alisa Andrea Carter) on May 18, shared primary custody of Bailee Ann with Bunnie before the girl turned 18. (Bailee Ann’s biological mother, Felicia BeckwithShe is Jelly Roll’s ex.)
On Tuesday, June 16, Bailee Ann broke her silence about Jelly Roll and Bunnie’s split, sharing via TikTok, “I’m disgusted by how involved everyone is in a clearly private family matter. It’s crazy,” she wrote over a photo of her in bed. “Go somewhere. Worry about your house, not mine. I’m not going to talk about that, yet.”
Us weekly confirmed on Monday, June 15, that Jelly Roll had filed a divorce petition in a Tennessee court about a month earlier. According to their legal documents, obtained by UsJelly Roll listed the date of separation as May 9, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason.

News of the couple’s split surprised fans, particularly because Bunnie had opened up about her experience with in vitro fertilization (IVF) during a January interview with Peopledescribing the trip as “one of the hardest things” he has ever been through. “It’s been hard,” he told the outlet at the time. “I know God has a plan and he’s going to make it work. I really do. I have no doubt.”
She also reflected on her past experiences with pregnancies during the interview, telling the outlet, “I really believe that having had an abortion when I was younger, the journey that I’m going on now with IVF, God is putting me through this again so that I can be a voice for those women who are going through this process.”
