San Jose – Two men from the Bay area have been arrested in relation to a February fatal shooting near Creek Canoas that suspicious investigators may have involved gang conflicts, police said.
The shooting was reported around 2:15 pm on February 12 in Farv Drive, near where Hillsdale Avenue meets Foxworthy Avenue west of highway 87. The officers who responded found Juan Barrera, a 19 -year -old San José resident, suffering from shooting, and then died in a hospital.
A subsequent investigation reviewed the video surveillance of the area, and the police said the footage suggested that the reasons for the gangs could have fed the shooting, but did not retard additional details about that suspicion. Subsequently, two men were identified as suspicious, and the detectives obeyed the trial and search orders for them.
On Wednesday, San José police officers located and arrested Nathaniel Henderson, 19, or Union City, and Antonio Michael Pérez, a 20 -year -old San José resident, in relation to the shooting in February. Both men were admitted to the main prison of Santa Clara County under suspicion of murder, and were arrested without bail.
The judicial records show that the two were criminally accused and scheduled for the reading of charges on Friday. The marked shooting marked the second homicide of the year investigated by the San José Police, a total that has since increased to seven.
