Welcome to the news group from the Bay area (Mercury news AND East Bay Times) Girls Athlete of the week survey.
Throughout the academic year, we will provide a list of candidates who stood out during the previous week and will allow him, the reader, to vote for the winner.
This week, we consider actions from April 7 to 12.
The surveys close at 5 pm on Wednesday.
Vote as many times as you want until then without using bots or no other artificial voting method.
The votes by email and after 5 pm on Wednesday they are not counted.

The winners are announced every Friday online and in the print edition of the Mercury News and East Bay Times sports sections.

We accept nominations until 11 in the morning every Monday.

In the nominees:
Mercedes Coller, St. Francis Softball: The Lancers Freshman launched five hits tickets when St. Francis recorded a game without hits combined in a 6-0 victory over Whitney in the Liermore stampede championship game. He also launched a complete two hits game in a 1-0 victory over Granada.
Giselle de Casas, Softball by Castro Valley: The houses hit three doubles, led four races and were 4 for the dish when Castro Valley knocked James Logan in a confrontation of classified equipment. The Junior committed to LSU added three hits and two races promoted in a 16-3 victory over Arroyo.
Amiri Green, Bishop O’Dowd Softball: Green scored three races, led in two runners and had two hits when Bishop O’Dowd beat Mount Eden 20-9. The second year student also scored a 9-4 victory over San Leandro.
Allison Lui, Notre Dame-Belmont Softball: Lazy launched a complete game in a 3-1 victory over Notre Dame-San José, allowing only an unwanted race and hitting a single for the three-run Rally of Key NDB in the upper half of the seventh inning. She walked only an NDSJ battery and struck out 13.
Kyleight Mace, Mitty Softball: The Junior turned a two hits whiten in a 4-0 victory over San Ignacio. Byu’s commitment also excluded California, allowing three hits in a 1-0 victory, and defeated College Park, contracting two races in four hits in six work tickets in the circle.
Kacio Norton, Lumbril Softball: The Junior had a solid week in the circle in Liermore Stampede, launching a laundering of two hits against freedom, allowing a four -hits race in a victory in Sheldon and concents two races with five hits with six strikeouts in a victory over Alameda.
Lola Sierra, Softball Haítanahino: Sierra had four hits and led three races while Haítana defeated No. 5 Mills 11-7. He added a success and RBI in a 5-0 victory over Burlingame.
Aaliyah Soderlund, Alameda Softball: Soderlund led three races in two hits when Alameda beat Mitty 6-4 in the limited stampede. He added a simple RBI in a 5-4 defeat against Granada.
Veronica Taira, Menlo School Track and Field: The senior of the Knights occupied the ninth place in the sown 3,200 meters in the Invitational Arcadia, marking a time of 10: 35.88 to win a personal record of 13 seconds.
Kalia Woo, Mills Softball: Woo launched a complete bleached game in a short contest, allowing only two hits in a 10-0 victory over Half Moon Bay. He added two hits in two shifts to the bat on the plate, scoring a race and driving in a corridor and at the same time traces a walk.
